Golf clubs are necessary in order to play the game of golf and for starters, he/she must consider his/her handicap before buying a golf club set. For a high-handicap golfer or a beginner, he/she must choose a golf club with an undersized grip especially if the starter is a child. For starters, a golfer must first know his handicap before buying. For a high handicap golfer or beginner, an undersized grip is advised especially if the beginner is still a child. Children have smaller hands compared to adults so narrow grips are a must. On the other hand, if the beginner is a teenager, the length of the club must also be considered.

Another thing to be taken into consideration is the weight of the golf clubs. Normally, beginners use golf clubs that are lighter compared to what experts use. Beginners need clubs that can be easily swung and balanced. At the same time, beginners also need a lesser number of clubs, since they are still getting used to the game.
