Simple Golf Driving Tips

By Harry Hackinruff

The golfer who coined the expression drive for show and putt for dough must have could not have cleaned up hacking out sideways after his drive. If you don't drive the ball effectively, this game is very difficult to enjoy or score.

Golfers are constantly looking for golf driving tips from anyone that has them. If you entertaining clients at a business lunch, you can bet a golf tip will be proffered at some point. Do you ever wonder when you watch Phil and Ernie on TV how they hit the ball so long, yet seem to swing so easy?

All the friends I golf with can at least enjoy their round as long as they are getting off the tee in respectable shape, regardless of their score. But, if you have no idea where your drive is going and you are hitting 3 off the tee after you hit your 3rd tee shot OB, you know the feeling of a ruined round caused by awful driving.

There has to be some magic potient, right? Could there be a secret that all the low handicappers know but won't share in fear of losing their edge? Well, take it from me, there is no magic pill. There is no quick fix. There is not a new driver on the market that takes an ugly swing and transforms it into 290 yard straight drives. The answer to hitting more solid shots is balance and the ability to repeat the same good swing over and over again.

The answer is to start from the ground up. You have to take one step at a time. The beginning is the grip, then the stance and then the swing. I tested all the quick fixes and changing drivers and studying golf digest for other golf driving tips and new putting secrets. I discovered one program that was actually cheaper than anything else I bought. Bobby Eldrich's PurePoint Golf Swing program. This program was the only one that made sense to me as far as the teaching of the proper plane and balance, which to me was the key. The program comes with golf swing analyzer software (really cool) as well as teleseminars with Bobby himself as well as tracking software to track your progress. You feel part of the community of golfers who are all trying to improve and enjoy the game we all love to the fullest. I could not recommend this product more highly.
