Fast & Straightforward Swing Enhancements

By Wade Pearse | Garin Bader

There are numerous ways to improve golfing swing speed yet not all are created equal. You've probably heard about keeping a stable lower body and turning into your right side amongst other "keys" to boost golfing swing speed.

There are 1 or 2 that stand out but what we found is that each one of them concentrate on a sort of muscle power or restriction within the swing. Extension is one key that at least allows for a free movement in the swing.

There is a key right there: swing. Hitters seldom reach their distance potential. It's good to be a swinger sometimes, at least in golf!

Free Flowing Power for Speed

Here's a few tips you can try. Follow the steps below when you're at the range next time.

1. Place one card or tee two feet in back of the ball (outside your swing line so you don't hit them)
2. Then place one tee or card a foot ahead/in front of the ball
3. Then put each tee 1 foot further aheadt of the ball (so about 2 feet in front of the ball).

Ok, I'm shortening this exercise for the sake of this article. Now take the driver away from the ball smoothly (not unnaturally slow but smoothly) and keep it low so it moves over the card behind the ball.

Then just make your swing and make the club head extend over the 2 cards and chasing towards the target.

Pure Swing Speed & Power and Ease

This drill is so effective at doing several great things for your swing. Distance for certain, consistency is another, and a feeling of power in the swing becomes apparent. If you practice this just one or two times (I suggest you spend plenty of time dialing this "feeling" in and gaining the results.

This action will improve golf swing speed in a way that generates effortless power but without the stress on your muscles and body. It isn't a swing drill primarily based on restriction and aggression.

Raise your golf swing speed using this powerful yet simple drill and add 10 Mph to your swing speed in one one practice session!
