Those who play golf in the Charlotte area are always spreading the word about quality golf courses. Any good golfer knows that a chance to play a few rounds is certainly worth driving a few miles.

There are some well-known courses in North and South Carolina and Leroy Springs ranks right up there. Springfield, one of four Leroy Springs courses , is known as a favorite in the Charlotte area.

Fort Mill South Carolina is just a short drive and well worth it to play this beautiful, yet, challenging course. The design goes back to the 1920s when the architecture of golf courses was getting a strong foothold in the United States.

And golfers especially like the four holes near Sugar Creek. Thirteen holes play along streams that feed into the Catawba River.
