Golf Exercise A Way Eliminate Pain In Your Back

By Terrence Thomas

A flexibility golf exercise that can get rid of tension in the lower part of the back can be the solution to a nagging back pain. As a bonus you can improve your golf swing. You do not even have to be outside to do this exercise.

There is not even one golf exercise system without flexibility exercises. That proves the importance of being flexible to a golfer. Better flexibility will lead to a better swing. It will make you suppler and a better golfer.

Flexibility programs for golfers are gaining in popularity. Many are not effective in improving a swing and the performance of a golfer. The reason for this is that flexibility exercises should be specific to the swing. This is because every swing has different physical requirements. If not, exercises will not be ineffective in bringing about better flexibility and range of motion.

Many types of these exercises exist. Some you can do sitting down while taking a break from work. One involves working on your upper body. Sit straight in your chair and try to reach backwards as far as you can. This is relaxing and makes a nice change from staring at a computer screen or writing.V:0

It you want to do this right, follow this pattern. Sit upright the chair. The chest must be high and the back straight. Now reach behind you. Only use one arm. This will have the effect of rotating your upper body. While staying erect, twist your body as far as possible. Hold the position for a few seconds. Repeat to the other side. Keep doing this, varying sides, for about two to three minutes. Hold the stretch for about ten seconds every time.

This is an exercise meant to loosen the lower part of the back. Done correctly it that results in the ability to move the upper part without strain. And this is what you want to do in a golf swing.

There are additional flexibility exercises that you can do with tubing, or using a stability ball. Others involve a medicine ball. All of them should be done on a regular basis.

A flexibility program is a good aid in improving the golf swing and getting rid of back pain. Your body is in the same position when exercising and when playing. Rotation is similar and so is posture. The action stretches the muscles as well or better than other programs.

Because it removes the tension in your swing cause by restricted muscles, your swing becomes more comfortable and flowing. The result is increased club head speed and distance. You should be able to see that soon after starting to do this training regularly. V:0

The human body is a sophisticated machine. Fine tuning the body is of importance. All the parts of the machinery should work in perfect synchronization to achieve maximum output. This is made possible through the right kind of golf exercise. These must be done at the correct place and time. Exercising like this is not expensive and can help you be a better golfer.
