Factors That Will Guide You To Choose The Best Golf Simulator

By Nick Morris

You may know that you need a golf simulator but here are some tips that will help you choose the best one to buy for your training. All of the simulators are different so it is important to figure that out before committing to one.

The sensor technology is the heart of the whole golf simulator because it is the one that gets the input and thereafter lets you have the feedback about your game. There are three types of sensors to be found in golf simulators today.

When it comes to a radar gun, the basic method of data collection is practically similar to that of a radar gun. It works but the accuracy of swing feedback cannot be compared to the other two options.

The camera method will have a bit of a plus because it really does not require any sensors on the ground but instead records the ball's image passing across the lenses.

Personally the best sensor for club fitting is the infrared system. Analyzing your swing is much easier and accurate especially if you opted for in ground sensors.

Considering that the most accurate data comes from the moment of impact between the club and the golf ball, the best data has proven to be from the in ground infrared sensors. These sensors will take out almost all the difficulty in your putt. It does have its shortcomings as well in that you are going to need a bit of floor space for this system.

If you do not get the placing of your sensors correct you can be sure that putting is going to prove to be as hard as driving a car on square tires. If you opt for the radar based system the sensors will be up looking down at the area around the ball. The flaw with this is that it is very easy for you to get into the view of the sensors.

Always pick the camera and infrared systems if your aim is to work on you're putting.
