How Reliable Are Golf Tips?

By Frank M. Caparso Jr.

All over the world, those people who love the game of golf and just recently started playing this game always look for ways to improve their game and perfect their swings. Thus the demand for good golf tips is high and lovers of the game everywhere are on the hunt for it. The internet has many sites and sources aplenty to offer. However, it is prudent to know which advice is actually reliable and which is not. There is therefore a test needed for reliability.

How to tell good from bad advice is to first look at the source of the advice given. If the advice was given by a known personality in the game or one who actually plays the game, then this will hold more water than from a source that does not. Dubious advice abounds in the form of unclear instructions or a failure even to say where the advice comes from.

Next to examine will be if the golf tips given entail hidden agendas. Is the free advice given entail purchasing something or is it trying to sell something? Some advice are usually tied to the marketing of one related product or another.

Marketing gimmicks that masquerade as genuine tips are commonly seen promoting the sales of certain books on the subject. Some also try to make you take part on an online training program for a fee. Thus these kind of marketing and advice propaganda is quite common.

The best kind of advice that one should try to search for is one that is reliable and free. That is it should not try to oblige you to buy or purchase anything. Most importantly it should also not be an advice that is dependent on the ownership of a certain product for it to work.

Most of the free golf advice that are offered t no cost or buying anything are related to sports fitness and exercising. These are fairly simple enough to follow and will only cost you some muscle power or a few exercise routines in your den or bedroom. There are plentiful of these kinds of advice relating to fitness advice for golf and the like.

For the best advice that is both free and reliable, one cannot go wrong with the use of forums and blog sites. One just has to patiently go through the many interest sites on the internet and look for ones specifically related to golf. Many forums have information sharing that is quite invaluable. Going through the forums you will have greater confidence in getting advice from people very much like yourself and those who play the game.
