Various Types Of Golf Clubs For Any Person New To The Game

By Harold Crayton

Equipment, while it helps, can't really change your game. It's about more than whether or not you have titanium clubs when it comes down to golf.

There are a million golf club brands all playing the same "titanium" game and many people running around with them, playing no better than a five year old at mini-golf. It's some food for thought.

However, your hip-twist, form and timing are still what they were. You have the same skill-set whether your club is titanium or a switch you tore off a tree.

The ball won't be easier to hit if you use an expensive club. You'll still want quality, but there's no need to break the bank. Maybe later on, when you're a better player, you can invest more into it.

The best golfers don't care what name is on their club. They care about the wind and how far they are from the hole. In short, they care about things that matter - they use their skills to win, not their club.

Fancy shoes and shirts are no match for golf training. Sure, they might look better on those golf magazine covers that they'll never be on, but the one with the skills is the one who might even bring home checks from a tournament. They're the ones that wake up early so they can go to the driving range and practice their swing.

The great players don't just have great outfits bought by the many tournaments they've won - they've also got some skills to back it up. The packaging is nice, but they also bring substance with their game. They understand that the person that looks best on the field is the winner.

Get better at the game before heavily investing into it. Put your back into it. Learn how to play. If you do decide to drop money on it from the start, make sure that you make your purchase worth it by playing as best as you can.
